Rohit set the tone for the press conference before the third Test against Australia in Indore before it even started.

On Tuesday, Rohit Sharma offered a hilarious response when he was introduced to the reporters as the captain of the Indian team.

The press conferences held by Rohit Sharma are very entertaining. Even when the Indian captain answers serious questions, there is never a dull moment.

In his interactions with the reporters, Rohit stands out for his mannerisms, choice of words, and sincerity in expressing himself.

Rohit set the tone for the press conference before the third Test against Australia in Indore before it even started.

On Tuesday, Rohit gave a hilarious response when he was introduced to the reporters as the captain of the Indian team.

When Rohit gave his customary introduction at the press conference, he said, “Sabko pata hai yaar (Everyone knows it).”

However, the press conference immediately became serious business. Rohit was asked about the debate between KL Rahul and Shubman Gill and who would play with him at the top of the order in the third Test, which starts on Wednesday.

The India captain stated that Rahul’s removal as vice-captain does not imply his exclusion from the team.

“When we talk about players going through tough times, everyone with promise will be given several chances to prove themselves. KL and Gill’s dismissal from the vice-captaincy have no significance.

All squad members between the ages of 17 and 18 are being considered. We haven’t decided on our starting XI yet. It would be better if I said it before the throw.”

India is one victory away from reaching the World Test Championship final, which will take place at The Oval in London in June.

After the most recent World Test Championship, “the way we played, in certain conditions, has been remarkable (in this cycle).”

Rohit cautioned his team against becoming complacent in the face of an Australian team that has lost a lot of key players, including captain Pat Cummins, and has lost a lot so far.

He also said that, like what happened to the tourists in the second Test, all batting teams could give up on India’s changing pitches.

“It is difficult for batsmen to maintain consistent scoring.” In the previous test, we were put under pressure, and we can anticipate the same here.”

In the first two Tests, India’s lower-order batting was crucial, with Axar Patel scoring 158 runs in two innings.

The captain stated that Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin “are literally top-order batsmen.”

“They’re excellent batters. We are confident that our batsmen have the ability to score runs, even if we are four or five down.

Some of the guys in the middle and top order can play freely if you have that much depth. And that unquestionably boosts our confidence.”
