    The Top 10 Richest IPL 2023 Players Ranking

    In the Indian Premier League, 2023 auction that was held in Kochi, England all-rounder Sam Curran became the most expensive buy in the history of the IPL with a contract worth a massive Rs 18.5 crore. Mayank Agarwal, at Rs 8.25 crore, was the most expensive Indian buy while Shivam Mavi, at Rs 6 crore, was the most expensive uncapped Indian buy.     10. Heinrich Klaasen – Sunrisers Hyderabad (Rs 5.25 crore)

    The list concludes with South African wicketkeeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen, who was bought by SRH for Rs 5.25 crore. Klaasen has previously played two seasons of the IPL – in 2018 and 2019 – in which he scored 66 runs from seven games

    9. Mukesh Kumar – Delhi Capitals (Rs 5.5 crore)

    Delhi Capitals signed Bengal pacer Mukesh Kumar for Rs 5.5 crore. Earlier in October, Mukesh earned his maiden India call-up for the South Africa ODIs. The fast bowler rose to prominence in 2015, when he claimed 20 wickets in 5 matches for Bengal on his Ranji Trophy debut.

    8. Jason Holder – Rajasthan Royals (₹5.75 crore)

    Rajasthan Royals spent Rs 5.75 crore to rope in West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder. At the 2022 auction, Holder was sold to LSG for Rs 8.75 crore. Overall in 38 IPL matches, Holder has 247 runs and 49 wickets.

    7. Shivam Mavi – Gujarat Titans (Rs 6 crore)

    Uncapped fast bowler Shivam Mavi was picked by 2022 champions Gujarat Titans for Rs 6 crore. Mavi, who made his IPL debut in 2018, has played 32 games for Kolkata Knight Riders, picking 30 wickets at an economy rate of 8.71

    6. Mayank Agarwal – Sunrisers Hyderabad (Rs 8.25 crore)

    Another expensive purchase made by SRH was Mayank Agarwal at Rs 8.25 crore. Agarwal was released by Punjab Kings, for whom he played since 2018, and led them in 2022. In 113 IPL games, Agarwal has scored 2,331 runs at a strike rate of 134.51.

    5. Harry Brook – Sunrisers Hyderabad (Rs 13.25 crore)

    England batsman Harry Brook was sold to the Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 13.5 crore. This will be the debut IPL season for Brook, who scored 238 runs at a strike rate of 163.01 in a T20I series against Pakistan.

    4. Nicholas Pooran – Lucknow Super Giants (Rs 16 crore)

    Wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran pocketed a contract of Rs 16 crore from Lucknow Super Giants. This made him the most expensive West Indian ever sold at an IPL auction. Pooran, who played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad last year, scored 306 runs in 14 games, including two half-centuries.

    3. Ben Stokes – Chennai Super Kings (Rs 16.25 crore)

    Ben Stokes became the third most expensive signing at the auction when Chennai Super Kings spent Rs 16.25 crore to acquire his services. The England all-rounder has a batting average and strike rate of 25.56 and 134.50 in his 43-match IPL career.

    2. Cameron Green – Mumbai Indians (Rs 17.5 crore)

    Mumbai Indians signed up Australia all-rounder Cameron Green for Rs 17.5 crore. Green was one of the best performers in the T20I series in India last year, where he made 118 runs, including two half-centuries, at a strike rate of 214.54.

    1. Sam Curran – Punjab Kings (Rs 18.5 crore)

    Punjab Kings signed up England all-rounder Sam Curran for a huge Rs 18.5 crore, making him the most expensive buy in the history of the IPL. Curran was the Player of the Final and the Tournament at the 2022 T20 World Cup 2022, which increased the demand for him at the auction.
