The NHL is the thing, and going to an NHL arena is 100 times more exciting than watching it on television. The game is the thing. It is very different from watching any other professional sport in person to watch an NHL game live. At an NHL game, there is a certain electricity that simply has more current flowing through it than in any other sport.

However, not every NHL arena is the same. You play the game at some buildings, enjoy it, and then head home. You can feel the atmosphere with every ounce of your being at the best venues it covers you like a blanket. We rank the arenas with the best environments in this article.

We are not considering the quality of the food, the cost of the ticket, or the cleanliness of the restrooms. The atmosphere of the hockey game is the only thing that matters.

Here Are The Top 10 Best NHL Arenas Ranking 2022 :

    10. MTS Centre, Winnipeg Jets

MTS Centre, Winnipeg Jets The Canadian city of Winnipeg was ecstatic when the NHL came back to town. The Atlanta Thrashers used to play at the Phillips Center. Atlanta wasn’t known for its hockey. The Flames went to Calgary, and the Thrashers went to Winnipeg, where they became the Jets.

Winnipeg, a small town in Manitoba, is aware of how fortunate it is to have its own NHL team. This is something that the fans and those associated with the franchise never take for granted.

    9. Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia Flyers, Wells Fargo Center The Flyers’ long-term aggressive nature has spread to their fans, despite the fervent support from Philadelphia’s home teams. Philadelphians have turned Flyers games into must-see events ever since the Broad Street Bullies rose to prominence in the NHL in the middle of the 1970s.

Having an aggressive team that wouldn’t back down from their opponents was a hit with the fans. Saying that Philadelphia cheese steak is a pretty good Philadelphia sandwich is like saying that Flyers fans like good hockey fights.

    8. SAP Center, San Jose Sharks

You wouldn’t believe that Northern California would give one of the additional astonishing scenes for NHL hockey, however, old-school insights don’t have anything to do with the real world. A great place to watch a hockey game is the SAP Center. Naturally, the Sharks are the only major league team in that city, and the fans honor the team in this manner.

    7. Joe Louis Arena, Detroit Red Wings

Detroit Red Wings Joe Louis Arena is one of the NHL’s oldest structures, having opened in 1979. It lacks many of the modern buildings’ opulence and luxuries. But when you go to the Joe Louis Arena, you get to watch Original Six hockey, which has been played by the best team in the NHL for two decades, in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are at a special event.

    6. Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary Flames

When you talk about a Canadian arena, you know you’re going to a special place to watch a National Hockey League game. Calgary Flames Scotiabank Saddledome, After the Flames relocated from Atlanta in 1980, Calgary became their new home. In Atlanta, the Flames had some success, but the community never fully supported them.

By the time the Flames moved to Calgary, the team’s on-ice product was quite good, and the constant support of the Calgary fans made it very difficult for opponents. They not only filled the Scotiabank Saddledome, but they also did so in a loud and boisterous way.

    5. Xcel Energy Center, Minnesota Wild

    — Craig Morgan (@CraigSMorgan) November 14, 2019

Minnesota Wild, Xcel Energy Center Although Detroit is a hockey town, Minnesota is the hockey state. That may be a term used in public relations, but it is perfectly appropriate. In the same way that Canadians love hockey, Minnesotans revere the sport at all levels.

They are passionate about college and high school hockey, and they have devoted and knowledgeable fans who make each Minnesota Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center a major occasion.

    4. TD Garden, Boston Bruins

    — Pens Inside Scoop (@PensInsideScoop) November 4, 2019

Boston Bruins, TD Garden Since the 1966–67 hockey season, the ambiance in Boston has been magical. That is the year that the game’s most prominent defenseman, Bobby Orr, made his introduction with the Boston Bruins.

Hockey has been magical and electric ever since in both the Boston Garden and the TD Garden. Numerous Bruins fans have grown up playing the game and they have close information on the stuff to win.

    3. Air Canada Centre, Toronto Maple Leafs

    — Franco Urbano (@Franco199Urbano) February 15, 2018

Toronto Maple Leafs, Air Canada Centre The Toronto Maple Leafs have been through a lot, but despite not winning the Stanley Cup since 1967, they have won 13 NHL championships. In Toronto, hockey is a way of life that is deeply ingrained in the culture, and the fans are probably the best in the league.

The Air Canada Centre, also known as the ACC, is a stunning structure with a stunning video board that lets fans replay everything they saw live and in person.

    2. United Center, Chicago Blackhawks

Today is National Anthem Day. There is no place better to hear it than at the beginning of a Chicago Blackhawks game at the United Center. #gohawks #usa pic.twitter.com/V4qrqZiwH3

    — Barry Butler Photography (@barrybutler9) March 3, 2022

Chicago Blackhawks, United Center The atmosphere at any Chicago Blackhawks home game is simply amazing. The Blackhawks don’t run their team like it’s just another day on the calendar when they play at home. Rather, every Blackhawks home game is a significant occasion.

Before each game, the team’s history is shown in videos to fans, and when anthem singer Jim Cornelison starts singing “The Star Spangled Banner,” the arena becomes one of the loudest buildings in the world.

    1. Bell Centre, Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens officially failed to sell out the Bell Centre Monday night for the first time in 583 games.

The game were they left Jean Beliveau’s seat open was still considered a sell out as they also listed the arenas official capacity as one less for the night. pic.twitter.com/KgOhzbTXhg

    — Complete Hockey News (@CompleteHkyNews) October 17, 2018

Montreal Canadiens, Bell Centre The Bell Centre is the best arena in the NHL and probably has the most energy of any sports venue. Similar to how it did for decades at the storied Montreal Forum, the Canadiens’ history comes to life at the Bell Centre.

The new building may be even more electric due to the videos and light shows that are such a regular part of the atmosphere, whereas the old building had remarkable charm and excitement.
