He has the primary coverage assignment over the league’s top pass-catchers & thus has arguably the most responsibility for disrupting the opponent’s passing game. The NFL is and will remain a passing league for the foreseeable future. Because it is, cornerbacks have arguably never been more important. Now, We read about the Top 10 cornerbacks in NFL 2023:

    1. Sauce Gardner (Jets)

The top 10 cornerbacks in NFL 2023 is 1st in Sauce Gardner, As a rookie, Gardner was possibly the single best cornerback in the league. He only allowed the completion of 45.9% of his passes for a 53.9 passer rating. At 6-foot-3inch and 200 pounds, he’s built to handle any matchup at any given time, and he’s playing in a system that allows him to take advantage of his extraordinary physical gifts. He led the league in forced incompletion rate & pass breakups and allowed only one reception in every 18 coverage snaps.

    2. Patrick Surtain || (Broncos)

He was born on 14, April 2000, and is a football American cornerback for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. At Alabama, he played college football. Of course, it’s basically the prototype of what you want a corner to look like these days. He ranks in the 95th percentile or higher in height, wingspan, weight, arm size, and arm length, and it shows when he is on the field. He does not possess distinctive short-field speed, but he compensates for this with excellent agility, leaping ability, and timing on his break.

    3. Jalen Ramsey (Dolphins)

He played college football at Florida State & was drafted fifth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Ramsey lost a career-high seven touchdowns last year as the Rams’ defense collapsed around him, but he was still very good in coverage for most of the year. He was born in24, in October 1994. And is an American football cornerback for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League.

    4. Darius Slay(Eagles)

Darius Slay Coming off a poor debut season in Philadelphia, Slay has returned to superstardom in full swing over the past two years. You could easily make an argument that he belonged on the All-Pro team last year considering how consistently he excelled – especially in the second half of the year.

After allowing 85 yards of coverage against Washington in Week 10, Slay allowed no more than 48 yards in any of the remaining games and only 55 yards overall in Philadelphia’s three playoff contests. He’ll be 32 next season, but he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

    5. Jaire Alexander (packers)

The last season, Alexander caught five passes last season and caught eight more, and he equaled his typical 2020 performance by achieving a passer rating of just 66.2 on throws in his direction.

    6. D.J Reed (Jets)

He is one of the above four players to be ranked in the top 15 in PFF’s coverage grades in each of the last two seasons, at ninth and 11th, respectively.

He plays in New York after allowing passer ratings of 76.2, 66.0 & 75.7 on throws in his direction over the last seasons & allowing in just 9.9 yards per year ago reception. and they play across from Sauce Gardner.

    7. Marlon Humphrey (Ravens)

He can do anything in defense of Mike McDonald, & the Ravens will certainly ask him to do so. The league’s premier slot man when he does get a chance to play inside, Humphrey went back to playing mostly on the perimeter in 2022 but still had his best coverage season in a few years, making only one pass with zero touchdowns and three picks. 74.5 passer rating allowed.

    8. Trecon Diggs(Cowboys)

In 2021, Diggs made the All-Pro first team when he led the league with 11 interceptions. But he has a better player in 2022, despite the number of turnovers coming down to just three.

    9. Jaycee Horn(Panthers)

According to PFF, last season he allowed just 28 completions and 310 yards of coverage with three interceptions and three pass-breakups against zero touchdowns. Horn has been overshadowed a bit by another star corner selected after him in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he had a stellar sophomore campaign and should only get better.

    10. Stephon Gilmore (Cowboys)

Gilmour can move into his age-33 season and he is clearly no longer on top of his Defensive Player of the Year season. title to Dallas to play Dan Quinn and beyond Trevon Diggs But he has achieved something close to top form over the past two seasons and is one of only four players league-wide to rank in the top 15 in Pro Football Focus’ coverage grades in both 2021 and 2022.
