Faf du Plessis, skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore, smashed a 115-metre six against Lucknow Super Giants in Bengaluru on Monday. The ball sailed out of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium as du Plessis pulled a short delivery from Ravi Bishnoi over deep midwicket. The RCB skipper’s six is now the biggest of the ongoing IPL 2023 season. The South African clobbered a total of five sixes and as many fours in his unbeaten 46-ball 79 as Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a mammoth 212 for two in 20 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis hit the longest six of the IPL 2023 season so far against Lucknow Super Giants in the 15th match of the tournament. Du Plessis hammered LSG spin bowler Ravi Bishnoi for a 115-meter six that sailed miles over mid-wicket and out of the stadium for the longest six of the season. He overtook CSK all-rounder Shivam Dube’s 102-meter strike for the longest six of IPL 2023.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz made his IPL debut for KKR today. The aggressive Afghanistan opener struck the right chords with the IPL fans as he smashed a massive 101 meters six to Sam Curran in his entertaining stay of 16 balls for 22 runs.

On the 5th ball of the first over of KKR’s innings, Rahmanullah Gurbaz skipped down and made room for himself to free his arms against Curran. The right-hander saw the ball well and connected with his powerful slog to send the ball way over the wide long-on fence, deep into the stands got a gigantic 101-metre maximum.

    4. Venkatesh Iyer – 101 Metres

Yash Dayal lands this short and on middle, Venkatesh Iyer picks up the length early and smashes it way over the deep square leg fence for maximum. 101 metres, massive hit!. After a couple of poor performances, Venkatesh Iyer made a roaring comeback to form with a scintillating knock against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday (April 9). He hit 83 (off 40 balls) in the chase to keep KKR in the hunt during the chase of 205 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

GT batted first in the contest after winning the toss. On the back of enterprising half-centuries from Vijay Shankar (63*) and Sai Sudharsan (58), they managed to scale a daunting total of 204/4 in 20 overs. Sunil Narine was the pick of the bowlers for KKR as he ended up scalping three wickets.

    3. Rinku Singh – 101 Metres

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated. KKR beat RCB to open their account in the points table. Chasing 205 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore were all out for just 123 runs. Bowlers Sunil Narayan, Varun Chakraborty and Suyesh Sharma broke the back of the RCB batsmen. Shardul Thakur’s scintillating half-century saw KKR score 204 for seven in 20 overs in the first innings. Another Kolkata player played a strong knock and helped anchor KKR’s victory.

This player is Rinku Singh. Rinku Singh played a brilliant knock of 46 runs. KKR team came out to bat first at their home ground. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was adding runs at one end. But, wickets were falling at the other end. Andre Russell’s wicket fell on 89 runs in the 12th over. After this, it seemed that KKR would not be able to reach even 150 runs. After losing five wickets, Rinku Singh combined with Shardul Thakur to revive Kolkata’s batting

    2. Shivam Dube – 102 Metres

Shivam Dube is having topsy-turvy time with the bat in the IPL 2023 and has faced plenty of criticism and trolling. In the 2 knocks so far in the tournament, the lanky left-hander has managed scores of 19(18) against Gujarat Titans and 27 (16) against Lucknow Super Giants. In both his knocks, Shivam Dube was mostly tied down by pacers who have employed a short ball barrage on the southpaw.

CSK won by only 12 runs in the end. The left-hander smoked Yash Thakur for a six and four before slogging Ravi Bishnoi for a couple of sixes but the leg-spinner had the last laugh as he elicited a mistimed slog from Dube. The first of those two sixes to Ravi Bishnoi from Shivam Dube was massive one, measuring 102 meters. This 102-meter hit from Shivam Dube is now the longest six in the IPL 2023

The incident happened in the 15th over of the innings when Faf dispatched leggie Ravi Bishnoi for a biggie past long-off region on the third ball.

But what followed on the next delivery was something unthinkable as Faf slammed one of the longest sixes of IPL. The ball was pitched short outside off and Faf held himself back before depositing it out of the stadium over mid-wicket region. The ball was pitched short outside off and Faf held himself back before depositing it out of the stadium over mid-wicket region.
