IPL 2022 is completed successfully. The biggest league of cricket has always given young stars to the country. The current players of the Indian team like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, and Yuzvendra Chahal are the result of this league. Every year the uncapped players (who have never played for any country) clash with the best players in the world and showcase their talent.
This season too has seen some great performances from many young Indian uncapped players. These players have shown great potential and have impressed everyone with their performance, be it bowling or batting.
5. Mohsin Khan
After in the bench for three seasons with Mumbai Indians, Mohsin Khan made his IPL debut for Lucknow Super Giants. The franchise picked him up in the 2022 mega auction at a base price of INR 20 lakhs.
Mohsin featured in eight league matches and managed to take 13 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 5.93. His best performance came against Delhi when he recorded figures of 4/16 and Speed Star was awarded Player of the Match for his brilliant spell.
4. Tilak Verma
The bat of 19-year-old Tilak Verma spoke fiercely this season. Known for his clean strike, Tilak was the highest run-scorer for his team this season. I had bought him for 1.7 crores in the mega auction of 2022.
The Hyderabad-born cricketer scored 397 runs in his first season at a strike rate of 131.02, which included two fifties.
Tilak was given a chance to play in every league match by Mumbai. His best performance came against Rajasthan Royals, where he scored 61 runs in 33 balls.
3. Arshdeep Singh
Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has earned his reputation as a death bowler. The 23-year-old may not have had enough wickets, but his economy rate has impressed everyone in IPL 2022.
He took 10 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 7.70. His best performance of the season came against Delhi, where he finished his spell with 3/37.
2. Rahul Tripathi
For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rahul Tripathi has been in great form throughout the season. Earlier this player has also played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL. His bat scored a lot for both the teams too, but he could never play for Team India. This player is also not named in the T20 series against South Africa.
In 14 matches in IPL 2022, this batsman scored 413 runs at an impressive strike rate of 158.24 which included three fifties. His best performance came against Mumbai Indians, where he scored 76 runs in 44 balls at an impressive strike rate of 172.73.
1. Umran Malik
Umran Malik remains the subject of discussion in the 15th season of IPL due to his fast pace. He has consistently bowled at a speed of 150 km/h in IPL 2022. With that kind of pace, the right-arm pacer troubled the best batsmen in world cricket.
He took 22 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 20.18 and has become the youngest bowler to take more than 20 wickets in a season. His best performance came against Gujarat Titans, where he took his first five-wicket haul in the IPL and ended his spell with a 5/25.
