    US Children Golf European C’ships:-

    US Children Golf European C’ships- Harjai Milkha Singh won the top distinctions in the Young Men 13 classification at the US Children Golf European Titles.

    However, with seven birdies against four intruders, Harjai beat his nearest rival by two shots.

    Harjai’s success at the Imperial Musselburgh Golf Club covered an extraordinary week for the Indian crew, which saw another Chandigarh chap, Nihal Cheema finish second in Young Men Under-7 at Longniddry Golf Club.

    Gurgaon golf player Mahreen Bhatia shut with a bird to complete second in Young Ladies 13-14, likewise at Imperial Musselburgh.

    Bengaluru’s Adit Veeramachaneni was fourth. Young men 9 classifications, while Vihaan Jain was tied-fifth in Young men 13, and Arshvant Srivastava rose with 3-under 69 to complete seventh in a similar segment. Ananyaa Sood was fifth in Young Ladies 12 and Naina Kapoor was tied-eighth among Young Ladies 11.

    In general, of the 16 Indians who teed up during the week at five renowned Scottish greens, eight players completed in Top-8 or better. Each of the three Indian young ladies was in Top-10.

    The toast of the Indian contingent was Harjai Milkha Singh, whose dad, Jeev Milkha Singh, won the famous Scottish Open in 2012.
