Virat Kohli will also be part of the ODI series against Zimbabwe ahead of the Asia Cup. Fans of Virat Kohli is eagerly waiting for the moment when their fav player will return to his form.
Before the Asia Cup, he can be seen playing against a team against whom it has been 9 years since he played an ODI series.

In such a situation, the selectors of Team India have made up their minds to send Virat Kohli to the Zimbabwe series so that he cen get in form.
By this ODI series against Zimbabwe, the selectors of team want to give Virat Kohli a full chance to return tin team just ahead of the Asia Cup.
The Asia Cup will going to start in Sri Lanka or UAE in August. Right now the dates of this cup is not out.
In a conversation with Inside Sports Selectors said that,
“Hopefully a break from cricket will help Virat to be mentally ready. It become difficult without any competitive cricket so we want Virat to play against Zimbabwe. As we know that his is Kohli’s favorite format and it will help him regain his form from the Asia Cup. We will make a final decision just before the team selection.”
On 18 August Virat Kohli will get on the team
Team India is going to play a 3-match ODI series on Zimbabwe tour.
According to sources a news is coming that many senior players of the team including full-time captain Rohit Sharma, will be given rest for this series.
So that everyone can play freshly just before the upcoming T20 World Cup. In this upcoming tournament Dhawan can become the captain of the team for this series.
All matches of the upcoming series will be start at Harare Sports Club on August 18, 20, and 22 respectively.
Kohli toured Zimbabwe in the year 2013.
Virat has make a total of 253 runs in 8 ODIs with an impressive average of 50.60 and a strong strike rate of 87 against host team Zimbabwe.
