Waqar Younis makes bold Pakistan T20 World Cup prediction. Waqar Younis, a legendary cricket player from Pakistan, is certain that the squad he played for might go all the way and win the ICC Twenty20 World Cup this year.

“In general, the pitches in Australia are quite favorable for batting, and Pakistan has some very good batters who are capable of playing very well in the circumstances that are present in Australia.
“There is no question that Babar will be the most important hitter at the top of the order.
“I believe that he (Babar) will have the impact that he has always had, and then of course Rizwan is playing extremely well, and the bowling attack that they have got is one of the greatest in the world,”
The towering pacer Shaheen Afridi is the leader of the bowling attack that Waqar is referring to, but the Pakistan great believes that his supporting cast with the ball is still severely undervalued.

Haris Rauf, who bowls right-handed, has been successful in the past in Australia’s domestic Big Bash League. The spin bowling pair of Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz has also been impressive in more recent times.
“We have tried around six or seven fast bowlers in the last year or so, and they are all going pretty well,” remarked Waqar. “We are having a lot of success with all of them.”
“I believe that Haris Rauf and Shaheen (Afridi) will play a significant role, but let’s not forget about Hasan Ali either because he has been bowling pretty decently recently.
“Pakistan’s quick bowling attack is really good, and the team can change things up by using Shadab and Nawaz, who are both good spinners,”
Wasim Akram, a fellow great quick, is the only bowler to have more wickets than the 50-year-old Waqar in both Test and ODI cricket than the 50-year-old Waqar does. Waqar has the second most Test and ODI wickets in Pakistan’s rich cricketing history.
During his famous 14-year international career, the champion pacer also shared the field with a number of excellent batsmen. These batters included Younis Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, and Javed Miandad, among others.
Waqar stated that any comparisons should wait till the present skipper finishes his career before making them, despite the fact that many experts think Babar to be on par with or even better than many of those legendary batters from Pakistan.

“It is important to remember that each of these greats played in a distinct age, as well as having their own unique qualities and skills and that they all came from various eras.
“Babar is still extremely young and has a lot of cricket ahead of him. Once he has retired, you can possibly sit down and start comparing him to other players.”
