During the press conference that followed the conclusion of the first test in Karachi. Babar Azam gave the reporter a death stare. After the conclusion of the first Test against New Zealand, Pakistan captain Babar Azam held a press conference. Which ended on a rather tense note because a reporter appeared to become irritated at being ignored by the captain. The reporter yelled, “Ye koi tareeka nahi hain, yaha sawaal ke lie aapko ishaare kar rahe hain” as Babar began to leave the press room.

However, before the media manager turned off the microphone, Babar gave the journalist a death stare. The entire incident was captured on the room’s cameras, and the video went viral on social media. Babar’s response seemed to be in response to something that happened at a press conference a few days ago. When the reporter in question asked the side’s spinner, Nauman Ali, a question that was unusually critical of him.

In a rather direct question, the reporter stated that Nauman had “scored centuries with the ball.” Despite the calm response from the left-arm spinner, Babar seemed to be offended by the question’s tone. After the visitors finished at 61/1 in the 138-run chase in Karachi. The first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand ended in a draw.

With one hour left in the Test, Babar had declared Pakistan’s innings. While the Kiwis made a blazing beginning to the innings. They, at last, missed the mark even after a red-hot beginning to the innings. As just 7.3 overs out of a greatest 15 could be bowled because of terrible light. Babar Azam’s brilliant century (161) earlier in the game helped Pakistan post a strong score of 438 in the first innings.

However, the Kiwis responded strongly as former captain Kane Williamson scored an unbeaten double-century to raise the team’s total to a staggering 612/9. Pakistan, then, pronounced their second innings on 311/8 with Ish Sodhi picking six wickets for the Kiwis. After Imam-ul-Haq fell just four runs short of his century, Sarfaraz Ahmed scored an aggressive 53. Additionally, Saud Shakeel posted a tough, unbeaten 55.
