England will play a three-match Test series against Pakistan, beginning at the Rawalpindi Cricket Arena, Rawalpindi, on December 1, with the leftover two matches to be played in Multan and Karachi. Without precedent for 17 years, England will play a Test match on Pakistan soil. They last visited Pakistan in 2005, when they were crushed 2-0.
In front of the Test series, England played a seven-match T20i series against the hosts in September-October in anticipation of the ICC T20 World Cup.
