Williams sisters Serena and Venus transformed tennis: With less than a month left for Serena Williams’ birthday, she entered the US Open final. She is ranked 413 in WTA and played 4 women’s singles matches and lost 3 in the last 14 months. Any player in this position with those that before the Grand Slam tournament will be the least expected player to win the tournament. However, any player but Serena Williams is not any player. She might bid farewell to the sport in the tournament at the same arena. She announced her presence in the field by winning the US Open in 1999 as a 17-year-old. 

She dominated tennis in an Era and no other player dominated that way. With her successful 25-year stint, there is no shocker that she reached the final. If there was any other player, you might see that as a shocker, but it’s her. Serena along with her sister Venus has a great career and played an important part in sports.
