    WORLD RUGBY RANKINGS

WORLD RUGBY RANKINGS. All-Time World Rankings in Rugby. On a rare weekend for rugby union, four Test teams are vying for the World Rugby No.1 ranking. South Africa, New Zealand, France, and Ireland all have the potential to be the most promising team in the world by the conclusion of the weekend, depending on how things unfold. Because they can’t beat Wales, the Springboks are a little sluggish. Even if they beat Wales, their rating won’t rise even if they don’t take into account the home weighting.

    More On The Predictions

The All Blacks or Ireland must win by more than 15 points if the Boks and Wales draw. This means that Jacques Nienaber’s squad could still win even if they lose by a lower margin. Men in green will move up to a higher ranking if they defeat the’red men.’ in New Zealand.

If they lose, South Africa will drop to the third position behind France and one of New Zealand’s or Ireland’s victories over Japan. New Zealand and Ireland may even level the table if they both lose by more than 15 points. All-Blacks players have been known to slip up. A fourth-place finish would be their lowest ever if Ian Foster’s side loses and France wins.

If South Africa beats France in Japan, New Zealand will still rise one place. If France wins and South Africa loses, and the game at Eden Park is a tie, the team led by Fabien Galthie will be ranked number one for the first time. Australia will overtake England if they win the first test in Perth. If Eddie Jones’s squad wins by more than 15 points and France loses to Japan by the same number, they can only move up from the fifth position.

    Any changes

If Japan defeats France, they will pass Wales and move up to the ninth place. If the Brave Blossoms win by more than 15 points, Wales loses, and Scotland loses in Argentina by the same amount, they might move up to the eighth position. Losing to Jamie Joseph’s squad would drop Les Bleus two places and put them in fourth place. If they lose by more than 15 points and England wins, they could lose one more slot in the standings. If Wales defeats South Africa in Pretoria, they will leapfrog Scotland, which has already lost. It’s possible that the Gregor Townsend-led squad will finish as low as 10th, depending on how severely they lose and how well South Africa and Japan perform.

Since Manu Samoa’s match against Australia A in the World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup does not count for the rankings, if Italy defeats Romania, they will rise above Samoa. Florin Vlaicu’s return to Romania has been greatly welcomed. As of March 2021, he has appeared in 128 tests for the Oaks. It is Victor Leon’s first appearance in Romania. As of this writing, he has appeared in seven Moldovan games.
