WTC Final: According to Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian team’s culture at the moment is excellent: Veteran middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who hasn’t played for the Indian Test squad since January 2022, believes the current team’s cultures are excellent as the Rohit Sharma-led team prepares for the 2023 World Test Championship Final.

From June 7 to 11, India and Australia will square off at the Oval in the WTC final. India will compete in the Marquee One-Off Final for the second time after falling to New Zealand in the title match’s inaugural match in 2021.

In the 2021–2023 cycle, India won 10 of the 18 Test matches and four of the 6 series they participated in.

Despite playing exceptionally well, we fell short of New Zealand the last time (in the 2021 WTC Final). The team continued to play successful cricket after that. The team has been well-led by Rohit, and everyone has contributed greatly. As a result of our consistency, we are competing in two consecutive WTC finals. We have been quite consistent as a team not just in tests but also in ODI and T20 matches. In a video posted on Bcci TV, Siad Rahane.

Since making his debut in 2013, Rahane has established a reputation as one of India’s go-to batsmen in challenging conditions abroad, as evidenced by the fact that eight of his 12 test hundreds have occurred away from home.

Rahen last played in the format in January 2022 at Cape Town versus South Africa due to a downturn in performance. But Rahane is back in the test team thanks to his Ranji Trophy average of 57.63 and injuries to KL Rahul as well.

I always enjoy playing baseball in difficult circumstances. I enjoy batting in situations that are both challenging and conducive to bowlers. For me, both the process and the preparation are very important. However, he continued, “I don’t want to start over and help the team.”

While Rahane’s test average in England is currently at 26.03, the WTC final presents him with the chance to make the most of his second shot on the test side. Rahane had previously struck the game-winning hundred for India at Lord’s back in 2014.

Typically, we focus on the wicket. However, if it’s cloudy in England, you need to look upstairs. It’s advantageous for the batters, and it will be better to bat if it’s sunny. For the right-handed batter, Siad, it’s all about having the appropriate attitude, being able to read a situation well, remaining present, and taking things season by season.

Even if you are batting on 70, you never feel out of place in England. You must be present and adapt to the circumstances. He added that being prepared and trusting your gut and game plan is really helpful.
