Ravichandran Ashwin echoed India captain Rohit Sharma’s criticism of the broadcaster for referring to the “first ODI century in three years.”

The broadcaster of the ODI series between India and New Zealand was criticized by India captain Rohit Sharma.

After Rohit hit his 30th ton in the format, the broadcaster made it clear that it was the veteran batter’s first hundred in three years.

Rohit expressed his disappointment during the press conference that followed the match, arguing that the verdict does not accurately reflect his performance because he has only played a few one-day international matches in that time.

Now, Ravichandran Ashwin has joined Rohit in requesting a more accurate interpretation of the “insight.”

“Rohit Sharma raised an excellent point concerning broadcasters, saying that they ought to be responsible for informing the general audience.

R Ashwin stated, “I have spoken a lot about this perception, how it can form into an opinion” in a video that can be found on his YouTube channel.

The loyal supporters, selectors, and other system participants will be aware of the truth if you continue to remind them that there was a three to four-year hiatus.

However, if you tried to convince the typical person of such facts, they would believe that he hasn’t scored runs. There are numerous new scores. Take him out!” He insisted.

Ashwin stated that Rohit had the right to discuss the matter with them and that the broadcaster should highlight such “facts” in a more responsible manner.

The experienced offspinner also mentioned Rohit’s strength in the 50-over format. Especially when he scored five centuries at the 2019 World Cup.

Rohit Sharma asked media outlets to take more responsibility when addressing these problems. ” He scored one hundred runs after another at the 2019 World Cup.

He won the Tournament Player of the Tournament award at the ODI World Cup. Ashwin stated, “The performance of Rohit Sharma in limited-overs cricket over the past ten to fifteen years is undeniable.”

Actually, he scored 34 out of 38. He took on the role and began hitting the bowlers in opposition. At the plate, he made life easier for his teammates.

The theme of the show was “yet another failure for Rohit Sharma.” Even when discussing that innings. It came as a surprise,” Ashwin went on.

Because the selectors are giving younger players more opportunities in T20Is. Rohit will now participate in the four-match Test series against Australia next month
