Bengal’s right-handed Indian batsman was Ankit Keshri. Keshri played for Bengal in domestic matches but never for India on the international stage. Ankit was fielding at the sweeper cover during a match and rushed to take a high catch. However, because of confusion, both Ankit and Sourav, the left-arm pacer, rushed to take a catch and collided. It was just a normal accident on the cricket field for Ankit, who fell to the ground unconscious and started bleeding from his mouth.
