During Arsenal’s match on Wednesday against Manchester United, England captain Leah Williamson appeared to have suffered a knee injury three months prior to the start of the Women’s World Cup.

Williamson was offed the field and coordinated promptly to the seat in the wake of falling right off the bat in the Ladies’ Super Association match. Joined prevailed by one goal.

Due to a tear in a leg tendon, UK striker Beth Mead won’t likely play in the World Cup.
