After attacking KSI during the weigh-in, Jake Paul’s sparring partner struck Dillon Danis, a teammate of Conor McGregor.

The Conor McGregor buddy and Bellator welterweight was in Austin, Texas, amid rumours that he would be the YouTube star’s upcoming opponent; an announcement is expected on Saturday. He also applied his trolling to the real world when, during the weekend’s event’s weigh-ins, he punched KSI during a confrontation between the two, causing havoc at the fighter hotel.

Anthony Taylor, another obnoxious boxer, followed Danis as he was promptly led out of the conference room where the weigh-ins were taking place. Danis was provoked by the former Bellator lightweight, who had just just defeated Love Island’s Jack Fincham in a boxing match, before landing a right hand that knocked the Bellator champion to the ground.

Taylor got into a fight with someone outside the Austin Embassy Suites when teammates tried to break things up. The Californian, a teammate of Paul’s, had long advocated for his own bout with KSI, but he believed that Danis overstepped the mark during their prolonged staredown.

Taylor told Mirror Fighting moments after, “I yelled n***** run that s***. “Fight me if you want to fight!” I rushed up to N***** while he was saying s***. He turned to face the vehicle, overhanded directly at the n*****, and tumbled into it! When his son approached, he turned right overhand.

Don’t come over here expecting to battle with your MMA warriors, I beg you. You don’t f*** with me; you don’t f*** with KSI, the man I stand up for. You’re going to be slept by a genuine n***** like me from the town now that you’re going to f*** with a real MMA fighter, dude. That’s not how we play, bro. I’m an MMA fighter too, so don’t come over here, bro!”

Dillon Danis punched by Jake Paul

Danis hurled coffee at KSI, however promoter Kalle Sauerland jokingly claimed that more of the coffee fell on him than the YouTuber, claiming that the Brit was “essentially attacked.” “When I suddenly noticed them doing the post-fight chat with DAZN, we had just concluded the weigh-in, and my attention was on getting the weights approved by the commission. I was distracted when Danis entered the room. I shifted aside when I saw him get up on stage, and he then punched me with sort of a glancing blow and threw coffee mostly over me, so I’ll be sending him the bill for my dry cleaning.

“Jokes aside, JJ responded admirably considering that he was essentially assaulted on stage, and it’s all heated up now that I see it’s gone viral. Danis also wanted to make a point. You’re not accustomed to it heating up outside the event, but we are. Anthony Taylor, who at the moment seems to be involved in everything, I heard got involved outside the hotel.”

Deen The Great, who competes in the main event, made light of the fact that Danis appeared to be performing the infamous “Bobby Shmurda” dance before Hasim Rahman Jr., who takes on Greg Hardy in the co-main event, admitted to witnessing the incident. He admitted to Mirror Fighting, “I was there.”
