NASCAR Cup Series Drivers 2022: The announcement that Chip Ganassi Racing made on June 30 came as the biggest shock to everyone. That the company’s NASCAR operations would be sold in their entirety to the Trackhouse Racing Team.

Anthony Alfredo:

AJ Allmendinger:
In addition to running full-time in the Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing in the No. 16 car (16 Races), Allmendinger shares driving responsibilities with Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric (14 Races)
Aric Almirola:
On January 4, 2022, Stewart-Haas Racing announced that Drew Blickensderfer would serve as Aric Almirola’s Crew Chief in the Cup Series. On January 10, Almirola announced that he would retire at the conclusion of the 2022 season.
Josh Bilicki:
Bilicki will drive most of the 2022 Cup Series race program for Spire Motorsports in the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro. The racing team disclosed this. Kevin Bellicourt will compete in the No. 77 car while continuing his role as crew chief for the Bilicki team.
Alex Bowman:
Ally Financial, his principal sponsor, will continue to sponsor 48 Chevrolets in the Cup Series until 2023. Hendrick Motorsports stated that Bowman had signed a two-year extension for his license to drive the No. Ally Financial will continue to sponsor 48 Chevrolets in the Cup Series until 2023. Because of Bowman’s extension, all four HMS drivers decided to resign by the year 2022.
Harrison Burton:
Burton has decided to leave Joe Gibbs Racing, the team for which he drives in the Xfinity Series at the present time. In the Cup Series that year (2022), he will begin his tenure with Wood Brothers Racing. The statement was made in a press release on July 15. The sponsorship announcement would take place appropriately and involve backing from Motorcraft. The 11th of November saw the announcement that Brian Wilson would take on Burton’s crew chief role, while Tyler Green would serve as a spotter.
Kurt Busch:

Ross Chastain:
Crackhouse Racing has made the announcement that Chastain will be driving for them in the Cup Series in the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro. Another announcement was made on October 25, saying that Chastain’s crew chief at Crackhouse Racing, Phil Surgeon, would be making the transfer.
