    The two Asian teams are scheduled to begin a three-match, one-day international series on Sunday (4 December). The Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka will host all of the upcoming games, which are scheduled for December 7 and 10.

    Even though the southpaw hasn’t been at his best recently, he has a chance to lead full-member nations in run-getters in men’s ODIs this year.

    To reach the milestone, he needs 40 more runs in the upcoming one-day international against Bangladesh.

    Shai Hope, an opener for the West Indies, holds the record for the most runs scored in men’s one-day internationals this year, scoring 709 runs in 21 matches.
