Ben Stokes, England’s Test captain, has said that he will be available for their Test match against Ireland at Lord’s. Which is just four days after the IPL final.

Ben Stokes, the England Test captain, and star all-rounder. Is scheduled to play for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final stages of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL).

Before the start of the Ashes, Stokes stated that he will be returning to England to lead the team against Ireland in a one-time Test match.

The Ireland Test is scheduled to begin on June 1, and the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule. Which was released last week by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), states that the tournament final will take place on May 28.

This means that there will only be a four-day gap between the final and the Test match. Stokes has said that he will give himself enough time to prepare for the second game as well.

When asked by reporters if he would participate in the Ireland Test, Stokes responded. “Yes, I’ll play,” following England’s 267-run victory over New Zealand in the first Test.

I will ensure that I allow myself sufficient time to return and play that Ireland game.” After New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson was ruled out for the entirety of the season. After requiring back surgery, Stokes’ statement is likely to be another setback for CSK.

Stokes also said that he will talk to other England Test players who are going to play in the IPL to find out what they need to get ready for the Ashes.

This will help determine whether they will stay with their respective franchises or go back to England. Other England red-ball players expected to participate in the IPL include Sam Curran.

Joe Root, Mark Wood, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, Jofra Archer, and Joe Root. “Because those five games are obviously the major ones of the summer.

I’ll probably go around and ask the people what they want to be prepared for the Ashes, and you must consider the desires of the guys.

But what if something happened in that game (Ireland) and we lost someone for the Ashes?

This is one of those situations in which you have to weigh the options of what each person actually wants out of that week versus whether or not we really need to play that one.

Stirs up, along with lead trainer Brendon McCullum. Has driven an emotional upswing in fortunes for Britain since taking over as Test commander.

England’s 11 matches under Stokes have resulted in 10 victories. They’ve adopted a high-octane, aggressive style of play. With batters scoring frequently and Stokes making aggressive declarations to force a runout.
