The draft players are announced and the event is taking palce in a short span of time. Here are the details about the BPL Draft
The details are confirm by the official of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The chief executive of the BCB states about the draft to be hosted on December 27, 2021 at the Raddison Blu Water Garden in Dhaka.
The event starts at 12:00 PM (BST) that is the Monday. The officials states about the same here are the details about the BPL players draft.
Nizamuddin the chief executive of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) makes an official announcement stating, “The players’ draft of this event will be held at a hotel in Dhaka Tomorrow, It will start at 12pm BST. That is how we have planned.”
BPL Draft Players
There are going to be different categories for the players. There are going to be 6 categories for local players and 5 categories for overseas players.
The pricing for the players is out now. The players in category A will be priced with the BDT 70 lakhs where as the pricing for the overseas player will be in USD that is USD 75,000 which is 64.3 lakhs in BDT.
There are going to be 400 players in the draft and the auction starts for the season.
The further announcement is made by the CEO of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. “Today we will get a clear picture of who our franchises have retained and who will be in the draft. We will circulate it among the participating teams.”
Adding further he says, “There are more than 400 international cricketers. Cricketers from different countries have registered. Some registered online while other registered through their agents and agencies.”
There will be six different categories for the local players which is from A to F and the categories for the overseas player will be from A to D which is 4 categories.
