Following their 2-0 win over Haverfordwest County in the Premier League, Cardiff Met, who won their previous match, will hope for a similar outcome. A zero in the scoreline has been a feature of recent Cardiff Met games. A wager on both teams scoring would have been a loss in five of their previous six games before this one.
Naturally, that kind of pattern isn’t guaranteed to continue into this game. Following their most recent match, Newtown defeated Pontypridd United 4-2 in the Premier League. Louis Robles (4′, 41′, 88′) and Aaron Williams (15′) scored the goals for Newtown.
In the six previous games they’ve played, Newtown has scored 16 times from the forward position. Having said that, Newtown’s defense has been a little weak, allowing scores in five of those matches.

We believe that Newtown will need everything to go their way for them to score goals against the Cardiff Met team, who we believe should at least score one goal. We, therefore, expect Cardiff Met to prevail at halftime with a score of 1-0.
When we look at their most recent head-to-head matches, which date back to March 13, 2021, we find that Cardiff Met has won two of them, Newtown has won one, and there have been three games that have been tied.
During this time, the two teams scored a total of 17 goals, with 8 coming from The Archers and 9 from The Robins. This gives us an average of 2.83 goals scored per game. On the Premier League’s 12th matchday on October 22, 2022, Newtown defeated Cardiff Met 0-1 in their previous league encounter.
