Tickets for the Indian premier league (IPL) 2022, which is about to start in Maharashtra are out for sale. The first match of IPL will be played between Chennai super kings and Kolkata knight riders at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai. Due to Covid-19 pandemic audience was not allowed since 2020. Keeping pandemic in mind BCCI schedules all the IPL matches in four different venues in Maharashtra which are Brabourne Stadium, Wankhede Stadium, MCA Stadium, and DY Patil Stadium. The crowd capacity will be an increase from 25% if the cases of corona will decrease. The crowd capacity of Brabourne Stadium is 7,000 to 8,000, Wankhede Stadium 9,800 to 10,000, MCA Stadium 12,000, and DY Patil Stadium 11,000 to 12,000.

How to book Online tickets

You can book the IPL match tickets online from bookmyshow.com. One ticket will allow the entry of one person in the stadium for that particular match. It is compulsory for the audience above 18+ age to show the Covid-19 vaccination certificate before entering the stadium. Children of age 2 years or above 2 years should have their own ticket.

The gates for the audience will open before 3 hours of the start time of the match. The time for matches to start is 3:30 PM for afternoon matches and 7:30 PM for evening matches. Social distancing will be Strictly maintained in the stadiums due to covid-19.
