The number of T20 leagues is also rising in tandem with the growing global popularity of T20 cricket. UAE was the owner of Abu Dhabi T10, the most popular T10 league, and now the Emirates Cricket Board plans to host an International League T20, a franchise-based T20 league.
The fact that four of the six teams in the IPL are owned by franchise owners will contribute to the league’s popularity in India. The six-team competition begins on January 13 and the final is scheduled for February 12. Retired players such as Kieron Pollard, Robin Uthappa, and Yusuf Pathan will also participate in ILT20.
The UAE T20 League has six teams: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Sharjah Warriors, Gulf Giants, Dubai Capitals, and Desert Vipers are the other teams. There will be 34 games played in the league over the course of a month; There will be 30 league games, with four Play-Off games and the Final.
