During the course of a multi-format series, Sri Lanka will tour India. An ODI and T20I series will be played in the IND vs. SL 2023 series. There are three games in the T20I series. India and Sri Lanka last confronted each other in Asia Cup 2022. Sri Lanka dealt India a devastating blow in the Super 12 round by defeating them by six wickets in the match.

Thus, India likewise neglected to arrive at Asia Cup 2022 last. After beating Pakistan in the final, Sri Lanka also won the tournament.

An ODI and T20I series will be played during the IND vs. SL matchup. On January 3, 5, and 7, there will be three T20I matches. The three one-day international matches are scheduled for January 10, 12, and 15. The ODI matches begin at 1:30 p.m. IST, while the T20I matches begin at 7 p.m. IST. The IND vs. SL 2023 series is broadcast exclusively by Star Sports in India.
