In the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, which is scheduled to begin in less than two hours, the Multan Cricket Stadium will host a match between the Multan Sultans and the defending champion Lahore Qalandars. For those who are unaware, the PSL 2022 final will be played again in the tournament’s opening match.
The country’s PSL 8, which is essentially a cricketing carnival, aims to attract fans to all four venues to repeat last year’s success. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should be able to achieve new heights in terms of gaining traction as a result of Pakistan hosting the entire PSL season for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The tournament, which includes six teams, will last for 35 days. Each team will play all other teams twice in the league stage before a four-match knockout phase that will be played entirely in Lahore the following month. It will be interesting to see if any of the five teams that have won the PSL trophy before have won it again, or if Islamabad United wins the PSL for the third time in a row, which is a record.
In the meantime, Pakistani fans have a number of options regarding this competition. In Pakistan, these matches will be broadcast by PTV Sports, A Sports, and TEN Sports, while Daraz, Tapmad, and Tamasha will stream them.
Like all of Pakistan’s international cricket, Pakistan Super League 2023 will also be shown on Sony Pictures Network in India. For the next five weeks, fans can anticipate that Sony Sports Network will dedicate a specific channel to the PSL; however, the channels’ names have not yet been revealed.
For fans in the United States and the United Kingdom, PSL 8 will be broadcast on Sky Sports and Willow TV, respectively. Caribbean residents, on the other hand, will need to tune in to Flow Sports to watch this competition. Cricket fans in Australia and New Zealand will need to switch to Fox Sports or Sky Sports in order to watch PSL 2023 matches.
