On February 13, the Women’s Premier League will hold its inaugural auction. According to a report provided by the BCCI, 409 players will be auctioned off, and a staggering 1525 players have registered for the event. The WPL auction 2023 will take place in Mumbai, India’s financial center, on Monday, February 13.
12 crores will be available to each team for selection. The 2023 WPL will be held in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The auction will begin at 2:30 p.m. IST. On February 13, the Sports 18 Network will broadcast the WPL auction.

Five WPL teams will compete in the inaugural season of the 2023 Women’s Premier League. The participating teams are Mumbai, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and the Gujarat Giants. Each team can only buy up to 18 players, so 90 players are expected to be auctioned off at the WPL’s first auction.

In 2023, Viacom 18 will acquire the Women’s Premier League broadcasting rights. Consequently, viewers will be able to watch the WPL 2023 auction live on television by tuning in to Sports 18 Network channels. The Sports 18 1 SD/1 HD channels will broadcast the WPL 2023 auction live.
Because Sports 18 Network holds exclusive broadcast rights to the event, viewers can stream the Women’s Premier League 2023 live auction live through the JioCinema app and website. The Jio Cinema app will be available for free to Jio subscribers, allowing them to watch the WPL auction live on both mobile and desktop devices.
