    The Indian team will face Spain on January 13 at the newly constructed Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela. They are in pool D with England, Spain, and Wales. Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Odisha, met with the National Men’s Hockey Team. Who is staying at the World Cup Village, prior to the upcoming FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023?

    During their conversation, he announced that if Team India wins the World Cup. Each player would receive an award of 1 crore. He wished them the best and hoped that they would win. The World Cup Village at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium Complex in Rourkela was officially opened on Thursday by CM Patnaik at this time.

    The World Cup Village, which was built in a record-breaking nine months. Has 225 rooms and all the amenities of the Hockey World Cup. The Hockey World Cup teams and officials will be housed in the World Cup Village. Tusharkanti Behera, the Odisha Sports Minister, Dilip Tirkey.

    The President of Hockey India, V K Pandian, the Secretary of Sports, R Vineel Krishna, the MD IDCO, Bhupendra Singh Poonia, the Secretary General of Hockey India, Bholanath Singh, and representatives of both Hockey India and the Odisha Government attended the inauguration.

    Players thanked Chief Minister Patnaik for creating a comprehensive hockey ecosystem for the nation’s players and praised the Odisha government. For the major tournament, the World Cup Village, the Hockey Practice Centre. The Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium will provide a holistic environment for national and international players.

    The Indian team is in pool D with England, Spain, and Wales. Will play their first match on January 13 against Spain at the newly constructed Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela. They will then play England in their second pool D match.

    They will travel to Bhubaneswar to play Wales in their third pool match. On January 22 and 23, crossover matches will begin the knockout phase. The quarterfinals and semifinals will follow on January 25 and January 27. On January 29, the match for the Bronze Medal and the Final will take place.
