In an ODI series, India and Australia are all set to compete. The ODI series between India and Australia will include three games. India versus Australia’s first ODI is booked to be played on March 17 (Friday). The contest will take place in Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium. In the first ODI, India will be led by Hardik Pandya.
In the next two games, skipper Rohit Sharma will make a comeback. Steve Smith will lead Australia in the series because Pat Cummins is not participating. India will concentrate on white-ball specialists in an effort to maintain their home-based ODI dominance.
Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Washington Sundar will all try to play an attacking style of cricket. Virat Kohli is also performing well in ODIs, and he will try to improve on the century he scored in the last Test against Australia in Ahmedabad.
India has two ODI series in 2023 and would now be looking at a hattrick of ODI series wins. India recently defeated Australia 2-1 in the Test series during the ongoing Australia tour of India in 2023. India figured out how to win the initial two opening games while Australia won the third Test.
The fourth test was a draw. The man of the series award went to Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin for their outstanding bowling performance throughout the series. In their previous one-day international series, India and Australia both won a whitewash.
In their final ODI series in January of this year, India defeated New Zealand 3-0. In November of last year’s ODI series, Australia defeated England 3-0.
