    India tour of Bangladesh 1st ODI: Review

    Team India had to face a one-wicket defeat in the first match of the ODI series against Bangladesh. After this defeat, the Indian team has gone 0-1 in the 3-match series.

    There were many ups and downs in this breathtaking match played on Sunday. Sometimes India was in the driving seat, sometimes Bangladesh.

    In this low-scoring match, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first. India’s innings were reduced to a score of 186 runs in 41.2 overs. KL Rahul scored the highest 73 runs. In response, the Bangladesh team scored the required runs in the 46th over to win by nine wickets.

    Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Mushtafizur Rahman were the heroes of Bangladesh’s victory. Who shared a 54-run partnership for the last wicket. Mehdi Hasan gets the win with fours. The team had lost the 9th wicket at a score of 136. His captain Liton Das scored the highest 41 runs.

    Mohammad Siraj took the maximum of three wickets for India.

    Two big catches were dropped by the Indian team

    Mehdi Hasan Miraj gave two catches in the 43rd over but missed both.

    • First: KL Rahul could not catch the high ball. This catch was taken on the ball of Shardul Thakur in the 43rd over.
    • Second: In the same over of Shardul, Washington Sundar, standing at the third-man boundary, did not even try for the catch.

    Big-3 flopped

    Team India’s top-3 batsmen failed against Bangladesh. Shikhar Dhawan 7, Virat Kohli 15 and captain Rohit Sharma could only score 27 runs.

    Shakib Al Hasan bowled accurately from Bangladesh. He took 5 wickets for 36 runs. This is one of his best bowling.

    Bangladesh’s 2 wickets fell for 28 runs

    Indian fast bowlers gave back to back 2 shocks to the hosts. First Mahmudullah was LBW by Shardul Thakur. Then on the first ball of the very next over, Mohammad Siraj bowled Mushfiqur Rahim. The special thing is that both the wickets fell on the same score.

    Fast bowler Deepak Chahar gave success to Team India on the first ball. He got Bangladesh opener Najmul Hasan Shanto caught by Rohit Sharma.

    Amazing catch by Virat Kohli

    In the 24th over, former Indian captain Virat Kohli caught an amazing catch of Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib wanted to play Sundar’s ball over cover, but Kohli, standing at short cover, jumped and caught the ball with one hand. Shakib got out after scoring 29 runs off 38 balls.

    Bangladeshi batsman Afif Hasan was hit-wicket. He was hit wicket on the second ball of the 39th over. Kuldeep Sen was throwing this over.

    KL Rahul scored his 11th half-century

    Team India’s opener KL Rahul has scored his 11th ODI half-century while playing at number 5.

    MP fast bowler Kuldeep Sen made his debut in this match. He was also a part of the Indian team on the tour of New Zealand, but he did not get a chance to debut there.
