    India and Bangladesh:

After being given the opportunity to bat first in Dhaka.

The Men in Blue lost their third wicket in the 11th over when Litton Das made a stunning catch to bowl out Virat Kohli.

Litton Das made a stunning catch in the first one-day international of the three-match series on December 4 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka

And Virat Kohli was completely taken aback.

After not participating in the ODI and T20I series in New Zealand, Kohli resumed international cricket.

The Men in Blue lost Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan in quick succession, so the 34-year-old had a big job ahead of him.

Kohli started his innings with a four, but he was unable to continue. He got out to the cunning Shakib Al Hasan in the fourth ball of the eleventh over, who also took Rohit’s wicket in the same over.

Kohli launched an expansive drive after Shakib floated one outside the off stump.

However, as the bat’s right hand was removed, the bat lost his balance.

Kohli accurately timed the ball, despite the shot being missed.

Virat to Rohit: aise karega captaincy?? 🤡.

    Litton had other plans

Litton pulled off a full-length dive to his right and miraculously pulled the ball out of thin air, despite the fact that it was supposed to land in the outfield.

To eliminate a batter of Kohli’s caliber requires special effort, and Litton did just that.

In addition, Shakib performed admirably by defeating Kohli in flight. After scoring 9 runs off 15 balls, Kohli died.

Additionally, Shakib broke Wasim Akram’s record for the most ODI wickets taken in a calendar year.

Shakib took his 124th wicket in an ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium following Kohli’s dismissal.

In terms of Litton, he skippered the ODI team for the current series in place of an injured Tamim Iqbal.

Additionally, Litton has scored the most runs in a calendar year for Bangladesh.

He made a valiant effort to score a 60 off 27 balls against India in the T20 World Cup 2022, but his efforts were in vain.

After Das got Bangladesh off to a great start, they lost the match by five runs.

The One-Day International series is part of Team India’s preparation for the 2023 50-over World Cup, which India will host.

It is anticipated that each senior player who has rejoined the team will play in the first one-day international.

The squad also includes youngsters Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Rajat Patidar, and Kuldeep Sen.

After his impressive performance against New Zealand, Washington is likely to be in the starting XI.

    In the meantime

Umran Malik has been named as Mohammad Shami’s replacement after he was ruled out of the series with a shoulder injury.

It is also the first time Team India has played Bangladesh in a bilateral series in seven years.

Cricket experts believe that the Men in Blue are the favorites to win the series, despite the fact that Bangladesh will have the advantage of home support and playing in home conditions.
