The International League T20 or ILT20, a brand-new T20 tournament that will be held in 2023 by the Emirates Cricket Board will captivate cricket fans. The Kolkata Knight Riders, Capri Global, Reliance Industries, GMR, Lancer Capital, and a number of other prestigious and well-known brands collaborated on ILT20 to elevate the game’s shortest format to new heights.
It is anticipated that the ILT20’s inaugural season will take place in January and February 2023. The first game of the league will be played on January 12, 2023, and the league will end on February 13, 2023. Six franchises will participate in the International League T20, which will include 34 matches played in the UAE.
Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and the other three Adani Sportsline, Lancer Capitals, and Capri Global teams are the ILT20 squads. The 34 T20 matches of the ILT20 will be played in world-class, structured stadiums in the UAE, which will not only provide fans with high-end hospitality but also entertainment on the field.
The primary objective of the league is to provide native UAE players in the process of development with the opportunity to advance their skills while competing against elite players. Zee Group has received the global media rights to ILT20 for USD 120 million.

Jason Derulo and Indian rapper Badshah will perform during the opening ceremony and first match on Friday, January 13. Tickets for the game between the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and the Dubai Capitals cost only Dhs30. During the UAE DP World International League T20, Trent Boult, Shimron Hetmyer, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, and Alex Hales are among the major cricket players participating.
The league features 24 players based in the United Arab Emirates in addition to 84 international players. There are a number of activities for the whole family, including a “Family Zone” at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Stadium where kids can play between games.
