On Sunday, November 27, Ipswich Town will play host to Buxton FC at Portman Road to continue their FA Cup campaign. After losing in the EFL Cup, the League One team will try to get back to winning ways over the weekend. Ipswich was eliminated from the competition on Tuesday when they lost to Portsmouth 2-0 in the second round. Before that, Kieran McKenna’s side were on a six-game unbeaten run, guaranteeing four successes and two draws.
Ipswich is now back in the FA Cup, where they beat Bracknell Town 3-0 on November 7 to breeze through the first round. In the meantime, Blyth Spartans defeated Buxton 4-2 to knock them out of the EFL Cup last time out. They have now lost their last three games, including two consecutive defeats in the National League North against Scarborough Athletic and Banbury United. Buxton is coming into this game on a run of four victories from their previous six games played away, and they will try to keep this good away form going.

As they take on an amateur Buxton team that has lost their last three games, Ipswich enters the game as clear favorites.Ipswich should defeat the visitors and resume their winning ways given the disparity in quality and experience between the two teams.
Prediction: Ipswich Town 3-0 Buxton FC
Ipswich and Buxton will want to start their rivalry on a high note because this will be their first meeting.
