Kycia Knight and Shemaine Campbelle on Thursday made a re-visitation of the West Indie’s crew. For the initial two ladies’ ODI series. Against Britain to be hung on December 4 and 6 at the Sir Vivian Richards Arena in Antigua. Kycia Knight and Shemaine Campbelle returned to the West Indies squad on Thursday. For the first two women’s one-day international series against England. Will be held at Antigua’s Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on December 4 and 6.

The hosts will benefit from the return of Kycia and Shemaine. The two keeper-batsmen have recovered from injuries. She suffered in the third one-day international against New Zealand in September. Lead Selector Ann Browne-John said in an official statement. “The CG United ODI matches are vital as points earned will take us a step closer to automatic qualification for the next ICC Women’s World Cup in 2025.”

The second chance for the West Indies, who are currently fifth in the ICC Women’s Championship (IWC), lost their first series to New Zealand 2-1 at home in September, is in the ODI Series. After losing a 3-0 series sweep at home to India, England, ranked seventh in the table, will also be looking to pick up some points. Ann Browne-John added, “It gives the players a great opportunity to develop and compete for final selection for the Tri-Series and World Cup”.
