LIV Golf tour schedule 2022 – Dates, venue, locations of all events. The LIV golf is already underway with LIV Golf London, it’s Kick started at Centurion club. Many well-known and top players are participating in the tour that will end in October. The former World no. 1, Dustin Johnson, and Phil Mickelson are the participants in the competition. They are among the favorites to win the title, however, the rankings are not recognized by OWGR Official World of golf rankings.
The LIV golf’s newest tour is one of the most controversial and has gained headlines since Saudi Arabia is backing the tour. The first event is already over and The 2nd event is taking place in Portland. Major winners Martin Kaymer, Louis Oosthuizen, and Graeme McDowell are also part of the tours.
LIV Golf Purse
The event is a combination of individual and team events, the individual golfers will compete with each other and also with a team of 4 golfers. Each regular-season event has a $25 Million Purse, out of which the winner takes $4, $20 is distributed among 48 participating golfers, and one consolation prize will be given.
The $5 Million will be given to the top 3 teams in $3 Million, 1.5 Million, and $500,000 distribution according to their positions on the podium. The winner of the finale will get $16 Million. The individual champion will receive $18 million, Runner up $ 8 million, and 2nd Runner $4 Million.
