The Kalinga Cup is returning! One of three venues is the Kalinga Stadium in Odisha. At Naveen Niwas, Football Association Union (FAU) president and secretary general met with the chief minister on Wednesday to ask for assistance in enhancing womens football in the state.

In response to their service, the chief minister thanked them for their efforts in the football project and that they are all welcome in Odisha, who tweeted later today. An elected member of the AIFF met fans and officials of this upcoming FIFA U-17 womens World Cup at Kalinga Stadium, discussing preparations as well as development overall.

The Kalinga Stadium, one of three venues for the tournament which is taking place at October 11 to 30, will host some games on October 11, 14, and 17.As part of the state government’s investment of Rs 70 crore in Kalinga Stadium and five practice pitches in city, it has also improved five fields with artificial grass.

The Kalinga Cup is returning and this time, it’s headed to the Kalinga Stadium in Odisha!
