Sunrisers Eastern Cape Squad: Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 2016 IPL champions, have named their SA20 league team the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Prior to the auction, each of the six teams will be able to pre-sign five players – three overseas, one South African international player, and one uncapped South African player – according to league regulations. Furthermore, the maximum number of players allowed in any team squad is 17.
Aiden Markram of South Africa also played for SRH in the IPL 2022 season, scoring 381 runs in 14 matches at an average of 47.63. He contributed three half-centuries to his team’s total, with the best individual score of 68*.
