On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia and Mexico square off in the final Group C matchup at the Lusail Stadium. Because at least one of Poland and Argentina is expected to lose in the other group match, both teams still have a chance of reaching the knockout stage. With their 2-0 loss to Poland on Saturday, Saudi Arabia could not advance to the knockout stages.
Prior to that, Hervé Renard’s team pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Qatar, defeating World Cup favorites Argentina 2-1 in the opening game of their group. Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, will be able to advance to the round of 16 for the first time since 1994 if they win on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mexico’s World Cup hopes were severely dented when they lost to Argentina by a score of 2-0.
Prior to that, the Tricolor held on for a goalless draw against Poland in their group opener and was a little lucky. Mexico, who are currently rooted to the bottom of Group C and have lost all three of their previous matches in all competitions, will attempt to end this poor run.

We anticipate an exciting battle between Saudi Arabia and Mexico for all three points, with qualification still potentially up for grabs. We anticipate that Mexico will defeat Renard’s team, albeit by a single goal, as they possess the firepower and experience necessary to complete the task.
Prediction: Saudi Arabia 0-1 Mexico
Tip Number 1: Result – Mexico to win
Tip Number 2: Less than 2.5 goals – Yes (There have been fewer than three goals in nine of Saudi Arabia’s last 10 matches)
Tip Number 3: Less than 10.5 corners – Yes (There have been fewer than 11 corner kicks in five of Mexico’s last six outings)
