Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan pits Sevilla and Osasuna against each other in round 23 of La Liga on Sunday (February 26). After losing their previous three meetings with the visitors, Los Nervionenses will be looking to win this weekend. Despite losing 2-0 in the second leg in midweek, Sevilla advanced to the UEFA Europa League round of 16 thanks to a 3-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the first leg.
The will men of Jorge Sampaoli are currently focused on La Liga, where they are 12th in the standings with 25 points from 22 games. Sevilla is unbeaten in four of their last five league games heading into Sunday, with the exception of a 3-0 defeat against Barcelona on February 5. Since their 2-1 victory over Sevilla in the Copa del Rey in January, they have not won in four games and have taken two points out of a possible 12.

After an awful first half, Sevilla appears to have found their stride toward the season’s conclusion. They should end their losing streak against Osasuna, as they have performed admirably at home this year.
Prediction: Osasuna 2-0 Sevilla
On Thursday, Sevilla played as a back three against PSV; however, for this match, Sampaoli is expected to play as a four, with Gonzalo Montiel possibly starting in place of Alex Telles at right back.
Osasuna will be without Nacho Vidal and Ruben Pena due to injuries, but the visitors are otherwise in good shape going into the match.
Last time out, Juan Cruz and Ezequiel Avila were both suspended, but they are back for this game and should be back in the starting lineup.
Ante Budimir is expected to lead the team once more, and Jon Moncayola, who started at right back against the champions, may be moved forward into a midfield position.
