He was born on October 4th, 1998 in Mianwali, which is located in the province of Punjab in Pakistan. Although he can play multiple positions, Shadab’s primary strength is his right-arm leg-break bowling.

In general, Shadab bowls in a manner that is not particularly aggressive and relies on his skill to fool the batsman rather than going for the ball. His bowling style entails delivering the ball at a broad angle, and it can be executed both on the flight and on the flat track.

    Background

After moving to Rawalpindi when he was 12 years old, Shadab quickly established himself as a consistent member of the cricket squad at his new school. After that, he enrolled at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, where he was instructed by legendary cricket players from Pakistan, such as Mushtaq Ahmed and Abdul Qadir.

He seems to be maintaining a consistent rate of improvement and was expected to be chosen for the Under-19 World Cup in 2016. In spite of the fact that Pakistan was eliminated from the competition, Abdul was the player who finished with the most wickets taken.

He was quickly chosen for the national squad despite the fact that he was still extremely young. Rawalpindi Rams, K-Electric, Khulna Titans, Brisbane Heat, Islamabad United, and Trinbago Knight Riders are some of the teams he has played for in the past. He has also played for Pakistan Under-19s.

    Debut

On March 26, 2017, Shadab Khan played in his first match for the senior team in an international competition. The match was a Twenty20 international versus West Indies. He took three wickets while only allowing seven runs in his four overs, which was a remarkable performance that stunned everyone.

Later on, Shadab made his One-Day International (ODI) debut on April 7, 2017, against West Indies. He went on to take two wickets while allowing 52 runs in nine overs.

On the 30th of April in 2017, while Pakistan was on tour in the West Indies, Shadab Khan was selected to make his test debut. In Pakistan’s defeat, he scored 16 runs and took one wicket in the first innings of the match. However, the match did not end in Pakistan’s favor. It continues to be the sole test that Shadab has taken.

    Rise to Glory

Shadab Khan was an incredibly rapid student, and his development started off at a dizzyingly fast clip. Because of his extraordinary abilities, there was an enormous outcry in the world arena, and he was chosen to represent his country when he was only 18 years old. T20 Internationals were the beginning of Shadab’s international career, which also had several successful One Day Internationals.

Shadab’s finest performance in a Twenty20 International (T20I) to date was on his international debut, during which he also set a record for becoming Pakistan’s youngest ever cricketer to pick up four wickets on debut. Because of his play in his first game and in the games that followed, he was selected to play for Pakistan in the Champions Trophy competition in 2017.

Shadab also established himself as a dependable batter for Pakistan, and he notched his first fifty-point score on October 16, 2017, while Pakistan was playing Sri Lanka. This half-century was scored during a strong partnership with Babar Azam that totaled 109 runs and contributed to Pakistan’s victory over Sri Lanka by 32 runs.

During the tour of the West Indies, Shadab won the award for Player of the Series, which brought him widespread attention. After four matches, he had a total of ten wickets to his name.

    A career in the Club

During the 2016 Pakistan Cup, Shadab Khan competed for the first time for Islamabad in a domestic competition. After that, he went on to play the remainder of his Twenty20 matches for Rawalpindi before making the move to the Trinbago Knight Riders of the Caribbean Premier League. Shadab was able to secure a contract with the Brisbane Heat of the Big Bash League as a result of his efforts.
