BCCI give statement on ruling out Shreyas Iyer

However, Shreyas Iyer had to be ruled out of the second Test because he had a stomach problem. In this regard, the BCCI itself has given information by issuing a statement.

“The BCCI medical team will monitor Virat during this test match. KL Rahul will captain the team in the absence of Virat. The All India Senior Selection Committee has selected Jasprit Bumrah as the vice-captain for the second Test. At the same time, batsman Shreyas Iyer could not get a chance in the second Test due to a stomach problem.”

BCCI has made the fans happy by making Jasprit Bumrah the vice-captain.

In test cricket, Shreyas Iyer total plays 2 matches and makes 202 runs. Avg- 50.5, SR- 58.55. 100s- 1.

On another hand, Hanuma Vihari total plays 13 matches and makes 644 runs. Avg- 32.20, SR- 42.40, 100s-1.
