In the ongoing T20 Blast League in England, Irish batsman Paul Stirling, playing for Birmingham Bears, scored 34 runs in an over with five sixes and a four. In the match played between Birmingham Bears and Northamptonshire, Paul played his career-best innings of 119 runs in 51 balls. This included 9 fours and 10 sixes.
The Irish batsman, playing his debut match for Birmingham Bears, completed his century in 46 balls. Thanks to these innings, Birmingham registered a big victory over Northamptonshire by 125 runs.
The 13th over of Birmingham’s innings was the highlight of Paul Stirling’s innings. Against his old team bowler James Sales, Paul scored 34 runs in this over with the help of five sixes and one four. However, Paul could not make the record of six sixes in an over as he could not hit a six off the last ball of the over.
