    2022 was not a good year for Team India in terms of their performance. The all-star squad’s performance, which included losses in two major events, drew severe criticism. Despite the fact that Team India has maintained its bilateral dominance by winning white-ball matches against England, South Africa, and Australia at home, the Men in Blue have struggled in significant competitions like as the Asia Cup and the Twenty20 World Cup 2022.

    However, in 2023, Team India will have two opportunities to break their championship drought, as both the highly anticipated 50-over World Cup 2023 and the Asia Cup 2023 are on the schedule for that year.     India against Sri Lanka (Home) January 2023

    In the first year of the new millennium, India will play host to Sri Lanka for a limited overs tour that will consist of three one-day internationals and three twenty20 internationals.

    1st T20I (Jan 3) – Mumbai

    2nd T20I (Jan 5) – Pune

    3rd T20I (Jan 7) – Rajkot

    1st ODI (Jan 10) – Guwahati

    2nd ODI (Jan 12) – Kolkata

    Third One-Day International Match (Jan. 15, Thiruvananthapuram)

    India will play host to New Zealand in January and February of 2023.

    Beginning at the end of January, New Zealand will go to India to compete in another limited overs series. The trip will include of three one-day internationals and three twenty20 internationals.

    1st ODI (Hyderabad) – Jan 18

    2nd ODI (Raipur) – Jan 21

    3rd ODI (Indore) – Jan 24

    Jan. 27 is the date of the 1st T2oI in Ranchi.

    2nd T20I will be played in Lucknow on January 29

    3rd T20I (Ahmedabad) – Feb 1

    In February and March of 2023, India will host a match against Australia.

    India’s last matches in the ICC Men’s Test World Championship 2021–2023 will be a part of a historic series that will begin in February 2023 and last through 2023. The tournament’s championship match is set to take place at The Oval in England in June 2023. India will host seven matches for Australia, including four tests and three one-day internationals.

    1st Test (Nagpur) – Feb 9-13

    2nd Test (Delhi) – Feb 17-21

    The third test was held at Dharmshala from March 1-5.

    The 4th Test will take place in Ahmedabad from March 9-13.

    The first one-day international is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on March 17.

    2nd ODI (Vishakhapatnam) – March 19

    3rd ODI (Chennai) – March 22

    IPL 2023: March and May

    The away match between West Indies and India is scheduled for July/August 2023

    After the scheduling break for the 2023 Indian Premier League, India will play a multi-format series in the West Indies. The series will consist of two Tests, three ODIs, and three Twenty20 Internationals.

    September 2023: Asia Cup Matches Outside of China

    The Asia Cup will return to Pakistan in 2023 for the first time since the country hosted it in 2008. On the other hand, conflicts between the BCCI and the PCB have cast doubt on whether or not India would go to Pakistan. Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI and the president of the Asia Cricket Council, has urged that the tournament be hosted someplace neutral rather than in Pakistan.

    India will play host to Australia in October and November of 2023.

    In preparation for the 50-over World Cup, which will take place in India, Australia will compete in three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

    October and November 2023: Hosted by the United Kingdom for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup

    In 2023, India will be the only host nation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. This would be a first for the country. They haven’t taken first place in this competition since 2011; thus, winning it will be their major goal.

    November/December 2023 Away Match Against India Played in Australia

    This will be Australia’s third trip to India this year, and they will play five Twenty20 Internationals there.
