    The India U-19 women’s team beat the New Zealand women’s U-19 team by four wickets in the final Twenty20 match

    On Tuesday the final Twenty20 match at the Bandra-Kurla Complex of the Mumbai Cricket Association, completing a 5-0 series sweep.

    The Indian management decided to use four fast bowlers, Hurley Gala, Titas Sadhu, Falak Naaz, and Shabnam MD, because the series was already over.

    The team will return to action after a brief break on December 19-24 for a camp in Bengaluru, where captain Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh will also be present.

    119/6 in 20 overs for the New Zealand women’s U-19 team (Prue Catton 53, Izzy Gaze 34; Sonam Yadav (2-27) and Mannat Kashyap (2-22) fell to India Women’s U-19 for 121/6 in 18 overs (Soumya Tiwari (40), Hurley Gala (21), and Shweta Sehrawat (20).

    Ocean Bartlett and Kayley Knight each took two wickets for the New Zealand Women.

    When it came time to chase, the New Zealand Women were unable to reach their goal and lost all of their wickets for 92 runs.

    None of their batters were able to score more than 20 runs.

    Mannat Kashyap took five wickets for the women’s New Zealand team.
