Umran Malik reported his landing in the excellent stage in IPL 2021. He played net bowling for Sunrise Hyderabad before T Natarajan’s exclusion from the competition earned him a spot in the main squad. Malik couldn’t take such a large number of wickets in his presentation season, however the right-arm pacer dazzled everybody with his express speed. Before the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad kept him because he could clock 150 mph on the speedometer.
By winning the Emerging Player of the Season award in IPL 2022, the Jammu Express demonstrated their appreciation for the team management’s faith. Umran Malik, who is currently one of the best pacers in India, made his international debut for India shortly thereafter. Malik was, unsurprisingly, included in SRH’s IPL 2023 squad. However, his performances up to this point have not been up to par.

Even though Dale Steyn, the fast bowling coach at Hyderabad, is a big fan of The Jammu Express, these are three reasons why the franchise with its headquarters in Hyderabad might think about dropping Umran Malik for tonight’s match against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The players found it challenging to score huge off Umran Malik’s bowling in the past seasons, however different hitters have wrecked The Jammu Express such a long ways in IPL 2023. Malik has released 176 runs in 17 overs this season at an economy pace of in excess of 10 runs for each finished.
In the last game against the Delhi Capitals, Umran amazed only one and offered 22 runs. In IPL 2023, SRH’s batters have not batted in unison, so the team cannot afford to let runs slip at an alarming rate. Maybe SRH can offer Malik a reprieve prior to bringing him back for the last not many association stage matches.
Umran Malik conceded a whopping 56 runs in his four overs in the third T20I against England, which India lost by 17 runs.

Earlier this season, Sunrisers Hyderabad traveled to Kolkata to play KKR at the Eden Gardens. Umran Malik bowled Nitish Rana in the sixth over of that game. After losing three early wickets, KKR were under pressure.
Malik, on the other hand, was dealt four fours and two sixes by Rana, who showed no mercy. As the momentum shifted in their favor, KKR scored 28 runs in that over. Even though SRH prevailed in the end, the management of the team may reconsider including Malik in the lineup for tonight’s game.

In their IPL 2023 squad, Sunrisers Hyderabad have another express Indian pace-bowling option available. His name is Kartik Tyagi, and he is famous for defending four runs in the final over for the Rajasthan Royals against the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021.
Tyagi moved to SRH last year, however he has not gotten an adequate number of chances to show what him can do. So far in IPL 2023, the pace bowler has warmed the benches. Since Malik’s structure has battled this season, SRH can think about allowing Tyagi a single opportunity.
