    The Pelicans and Settlers’ 27th Barbados T10 2023–24 game came to an end without a conclusion. In the 28th game, the Titans defeated the Warriors by a score of 19 runs. The Desmond Hayes Oval served as the venue for both games. Top run scorers and wicket takers are listed below.

    In the opening game of the day, the Pelicans batted first and piled up a score of 101/5 in 10 overs. Captain Jonathan Drakes and Shian Brathwaite were the leading scorers, with Kevin Stoute bagging two wickets for Settlers.

    Using three fours and four sixes to help him score 36 off only eight balls, Kevin Wickham and the Settlers put up an incredible 52/2 in less than three overs. Rain, however, stopped playing at one point, and the game finished without a conclusion.

    The Titans batted first in the day’s second game and amassed an impressive 133/4 in 10 overs. Raymon Reifer, the opener, led the team in scoring with 37 runs off of 16 balls, including three fours and as many sixes. For the Warriors, Jadieh Blades took two wickets.

    The Warriors could only muster 114 runs in 9.4 overs in response. Despite his best efforts, captain Jonathan Carter was unable to get the other batters to cooperate. He managed to score 38 runs off 14 balls with five fours and two sixes. Steffaun Griffith was the outstanding bowler for the Titans, capturing three wickets.

    Top run scorers and wicket takers

    Let’s review the top run scorers and wicket-takers in the current SA20 2024.

    With 280 runs from 10 innings, Jonathan Drakes, the outstanding batter for the Pelicans, solidified his position atop the batting charts. Carlos Brathwaite, Ryshon Williams, and Akeem Springer held onto their positions as runners-up, third, and fourth, respectively.

    Warriors captain Jonathan Carter scored 198 runs at an average of 28.29, moving him up from 11th to fifth place. Roshon Primus maintained his sixth place. Nyeem Young moved up one position to take seventh place.

    Moving down from sixth to eighth place was Kadeem Alleyne. Both Aaron Jones and Dwayne Smith dropped a position to finish ninth and tenth, respectively, with averages of 24.43 and 34.20.

    Kemar Harte, the medium pacer for the Titans, extended his lead in the wickets tally to fifteen from nine innings. With 11 scalps, Pelicans pacer Jaden Edmund shot up to the second spot from fourth.

    Ryshon Williams and Jair McAllister moved up one position apiece to occupy the third and fourth positions, at 12 and 12.8 respectively. Steffaun Griffith, a bowler for the Titans, shot up to the fifth spot after taking 10 wickets at an average of 15.7.

    Dario Cumberbatch fell one spot to reach the sixth rank at 16. At 18.22, Matthew Jones moved up one position to take seventh place. Carlos Brathwaite and Zidane Clarke both dropped two spots to finish in the eighth and ninth places. At age 16, Amari Alexandre Goodridge fell one spot to take 10th place.
