On Wednesday, Tunisia and France will play their third and final group-stage match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the Education City Stadium. France, the current champions, are the first team to reach the knockout stage thanks to consecutive victories in their first two matches. They beat Australia 4-1 in their first game of the season, and Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the second half to help them beat Denmark 2-1 on Saturday.
After holding Denmark to a goalless draw in their season opener, Tunisia lost 1-0 to Australia on Saturday. They do not have a goal to their name. There is a slim chance that Tunisia will advance to the knockout stages. Not only will they need to defeat France, but they will also need to win by at least two goals. For a team that hasn’t scored a goal in the competition, this seems like an impossible task.

In their first two matches in the competition, the Eagles of Carthage have scored fewer goals than they have attempted. They have scored in four of their five gatherings against France and will be confident of a superior goalscoring yield in this game than in their past two games.
Didier Deschamps, the France coach, has led his team to the round of 16 and will undoubtedly alter the starting lineup. Mbappe may be rested for the game, and the defense and midfield are also expected to be changed. Despite this, France has enough firepower to easily defeat their North African rivals.
Prediction: Tunisia 0-2 France
