    Handre Pollard is a Springbok player who helped his team win the World Cup. After six years with the Bulls in Super Rugby South Africa, he agreed to join Montpellier in the Top 14 in 2019. This made him the highest-paid rugby player in Europe. He is one of the athletes making the most money right now. Pollard was picked as the betting favorite to score the most points at the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Sanchez played for Pampas XV for the first time at the 2011 Vodacom Cup. From 2011–12 to 2013–14, he played for Bordeaux in the Top 14 of the French league. He was also a member of the RC Toulonnais from 2014 to 2015.

    9. Michael Hooper (Australia) – $520,000 per year

    Hooper was born on October 29, 1991, and plays rugby union for the Australian national team, the Wallabies. He is a flanker and has helped make Rugby one of Australia’s most popular sports.
