On Friday, January 13, Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host the first International League T20 2023 match between Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ABD) and Dubai Capitals (DUB). For the Capitals’ inaugural season, international stars Joe Root, Sikander Raza, and Isuru Udana are in the teams. Rovman Powell, a star West Indies batsman and all-rounder, is leading the team.

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders’ inaugural season will be led by veteran Caribbean all-rounder Sunil Narine, along with West Indies stars Andre Russell and Akeal Hosein. Due to their commitment to the Sri Lankan national team, Charith Asalanka, Lahiru Kumara, and Dhananjaya de Silva will not play in the first few games.
